Artists Connected Projects is pleased to present its inaugural exhibition, “Circuitry,” an exhibition discovering shared systems and intersecting pathways at @Studioninedee in Chelsea, New York. The exhibition runs from October 22nd – Oct 30th. The Opening reception will be 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 22nd.
The exhibition, “Circuitry,” brings together 14 artists who invited art colleagues to link their inspiration through themes, materials, and/or inquiry. These connections create an underlying energy that emerges through encouragement, discussions, and support. The exhibition's circuits and rhizomatic patterns invite slow viewing, revealing exchanges of materiality, hybrid forms, memory, unique ecologies, identity, and transformation as they coalesce into complex layers of meaning.
Through a feedback loop of color, medium, and imagery, the exhibition navigates and suggests networks of symbiosis. Typical art-world boundaries and barriers dissolve as relational dialogues form. This generative circulation of ideas and transfer of innovations promotes shared systems and new alliances.
Artists in the exhibition include:
Yasmeen Abdallah, Natale Adgnot, Earth Ængel, Nicole Basilone, Sue Beyer, Julia Blume, Teja Clayman, Nicole Cooper, Nancy Elsamanoudi, Yining Fang, Shiraz Fazli, Caroline Heffron, Ivy Hickam, Sierra Iturrino, Nicole Licht, Emily McGill, Megan Nugroho, Avani Patel, Andrea Carola Robes, Christopher Santiago, Melinda Kiefer Santiago, Lisa Schonberg, Junhan Shen, Darcy Spitz, Christl Stringer, Sam Ticknor, Noelle Timmons, Tracy von Ahsen and Dayra Warner.
Caroline Heffron is the curator/artist and founder of Artists Connected Projects. The Instagram and website serve as a platform to interview artists and ask about art inspirations. The program includes studio visits, exhibitions, and events that help the art world community engage on a personal level.
